I remember a time in my life when I dreamed of technology, modern everything, and the life of ease and fun. My how times have changed. And not. I still love some those to some extent, but the desire for what I want my life to look like has changed. As I mature, I find new value for hard work and a desire to get back to when people spent more time in the garden than looking at a screen.

It seems I’m not the only one that’s been feeling this way either. My friends have just bought 5 acres in Eagle. It’s a bump up in space for them, but not their first farm. However, there was a first this weekend… baling and stacking their own hay! My family and a handful of others joined in to help and it was a ton of fun.
